 | NASA Mars Rover Curiosity spots (potential) flower in Mars rock on December 19, 2012. Right now the true identity of the item found in the Mars rock is not known. Some are speculating it could be a flower fossilized within the rock or could be a fossil from a previous living organism. Another idea is that the object found is nothing more than a cluster of minerals lodged within the rock. It has been ruled out that the item came from the Curiosity rover itself as the item is lodged within the martien surface. Here's to hoping it's a fossil of past alien life!
